Changing a Flat Tire

As one of the most common causes of vehicle breakdown, a flat tire is a minor problem that can sometimes cause major aggravation. It's also one of the easiest do-it-yourself car fixes.
If possible, move your vehicle to a safe and level location. Make sure your parking brake is engaged, and place rocks behind the wheels for added security. Your spare tire and jack should be located in the trunk of your car and may come with an instruction manual. Loosen the lug nuts with a wrench slightly before lifting your car with the jack.
